Snowshoe and Super Cub spring adventure in the Alaska Range.
The Hunt
This hunt is always an adventure. Based in the Alaskan Range, we fly in and cover a lot of territory in the Super Cub. From there we snowshoe to access and pursue bears as they emerge from their winter dens. High opportunity hunt with multi-tag possibilities.
What to expect
- ·Accessing remote alpine ridges by ski-plane / Super Cub
- ·Travel by snowshoe in rugged mountain winter terrain
- ·Option to purchase up to two Brown Bear tags and three Black Bear tags
- ·Active wolves in the area (no tag or trophy fee required)
Required gear
- ›Extreme cold-weather mountain gear
- ›Snowshoes and trekking poles
- ›Rifle caliber .300 Win Mag or larger recommended
- ›Physical and mental stamina for active winter hunts
