Caribou

Mature bulls on the migration.

The Hunt

Bulls in velvet, then bulls in hard antler — caribou move through Brooks Range valleys in waves. We position camp on traditional crossings and ridges, then go where the herd goes. Plan to walk. Plan to be patient. Plan to come home with meat.

What to expect

  • ·Flat-to-rolling tundra and gravel bar travel
  • ·Group sizes of 10–500 caribou, often visible at distance
  • ·Camp moves as needed to follow the migration
  • ·Excellent meat hunt — generous trophy potential
